Additional information
If for any reason you have difficulty accessing the flyer and booking form (link above), please refer to the text below:
The flyer is an image of a sheet of paper torn out from a notebook. On this are rough notes about the event. The most prominent text is the title of the event: "Inclusion: Warts and All!" and the date of the event: 7th February. Alternative titles have been crossed out. These were "Good Practice in Inclusion" and "Evidence Based Practice in Inclusion". There are notes on the paper about the event. These notes say:
- Kids and young people directly involved.
- The day to day stuff that makes it succeed or fail.
- Keep costs to a minimum so everyone can come (£15).
There is a programme written on the paper which says:
10:30 - Registration
11:00 - Sharing practical examples of inclusion (beside this is written: "Real
stuff more than polished presentations."
12:00 - Dr Beth Cross, findings from schools and social capital research.
13:00 - Lunch, extended to allow Equity members to attend AGM
14:15 - Transforming Transitions using person-centred planning (brief introduction)
14:30 - Cafe Conversations (not workshops)
15:30 - More from young people
16:00 - Close.
Beside the item 'Cafe Conversations' is written: "Chance for real learning.
Open for people to contribute and move around, but including focused discussion
about Transforming Transitions project, research, the Inclusive Learning
Network..."
On the second side of the flyer is information about the venue and the booking form - which asks how many places are to be booked (at £15 per person including lunch), for the names of those who wish to attend, for an e-mail address, phone number, and postal address. It also asks for confirmation of the amount of payment included, whether a receipt is required, and for dietary or other requirements for support.
